I started with a blank strip of copper on which I etched a design of cascading rectangles with an acid solution. After the etching was complete, and the piece was neutralized, I added a patina to bring out the details of the etching. I then drilled holes in the copper, laced it with a heavy sterling silver wire and formed it into shape.
The cuff is 2.75 inches long by 2.25 inches wide. The size can be gently adjusted by hand to fit your wrist.
