I designed and formed this fun and funky necklace from a discarded aluminum beverage can. I layered pieces of aluminum and adorned it with copper beads: two at the top of the pendant, one in the center, and 2 hanging at the bottom on copper wire. I found the can on an Arkansas hiking trail. This necklace is cheery and playful and very lightweight.
It is strung on a 22 inch chain.

Trail Trash jewelry takes many different forms, but usually involves items I find along trails or hiking paths - back country, rural and urban. I clean/prepare these items and use them to create unusual yet beautiful necklaces, earrings, bracelets or other works of art.
